Plan to arrive an hour or so before your reservation so you can soak up the ambiance and some fine bourbon at the bar. Make your reservation at least a week in advance. This is not a just a restaurant! This is an experience like no other in Nashville. I've lived in Tennessee all my life, and thought I knew every new restaurant in Nashville. I stumbled across HoC when looking for a romantic restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. If you just want amazing food I would go to Kayne Prime BUT if you want an amazing evening like none other I've ever experienced with good food, ambiance and live shows then this is a must. We were there for four hours and only left when we did because I had to work the next day! Make sure you check out the magic art.they have a very interesting collection of playing cards with the oldest dating to 1490 which are individually framed and placed on columns around the dining area. ![]() We enjoyed sides of brussels, spinach and macaroni & cheese (you can get lobster added). Two of us had the lamb and my wife had the sea bass. We had the cauliflower and scallops which were served hot and perfect. If nobody else was making requests we enjoyed coming up with songs to request and see if the piano would respond. We sat at table 35 which is located next to their baby grand (has a name?) which takes audible requests for songs. One of the valets and my son walked around the block to where I was stuck in traffic and the guy gives me my valet ticket and gets in my car so I could make my reservation! Big tip! Our waiter was Ashish and he was amazing. First of all use the valet.best downtown valet in Nashville per my experience.I dropped my wife and son off as the Titans traffic was terrible and the road was temporarily closed. We had been wanting to come here since it opened so my wife scheduled for my birthday. Reservations required for dining room, walk-ins welcome at bar subject to dress code.
